Long Covid

Research carried out by the Study Group for the Diagnosis and Treatment of COVID-19 in Veracruz, Mexico, made up of researchers: Alondra Ruíz Romero, Marilyn González Maldonado, Betsy Cruz Oliveros, Rosa Luna Ceballos, Brenda Rodríguez Bonachea, Mayra Quiñones Martínez, Iliana Vázquez González, Álvaro Munguía Sereno, Rubén Domínguez Cámara, Héctor Hernández Gómez and Luis Del Carpio OrantesThe research carried out by this group of professionals began in the acute stage of the Covid 19 Pandemic and extends to the present. The chronic manifestations that individuals present after having suffered from this disease are being refined and investigated; arriving conclusive results whose term is Long COVID persistent, which is a clinical syndrome that harbors more than 200 symptoms and that affects more than 10 organs of the human body, particularly highlighting that neuropsychiatric symptoms are always the most prevalent globally.
