It's been six years since I started writing poetry. My sixteen-year-old self would probably not believe where I am right now in life. The years have been rough, but there were good moments too, in between many changes, some for the better. It's hard to believe that at 22 I am publishing a book filled with the texts I've written, but I am forever grateful for this opportunity. As I make my way through the world and try to understand it, I express myself through words. Much of my inspiration comes from the people I've met along the way, people who touched me on a level worth writing about. All I can say, wish, and hope for is that you, the reader, may find your own personal happy beginning.
