Lower Local Governments and Lower Level Health Units

The book on relationship between Lower Local Governments and Lower Local Health Units looks at the management of the former administered in terms of supervision and monitoring, resource allocation and communication. It has been found that the relationship is weak as determined by the above parameters and among these, communication has been found to be a major bottleneck that has also affected the other two parameters of supervision and monitoring, and resource allocation. The latter two were not mainly implemented because of lack or inadequate communication and lack of knowledge on obligations of each one of the entities which has led to inadequate health services.
