LTE-Advanced Simulation Framework Based On OMNeT++

Applying new techniques in real world without testing is very expensive and may cause big losses due to gaps in implementation or algorithms. Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-Advanced) mobile networks is a new approach in 4G mobile networks, it might be very expensive to apply this technique in real world without pretesting. In this book we introduce a simulation framework based on OMNeT++ IDE. The introduced framework is free to use and open for development. This book contains all the details that are related to LTE-Avanced simulation framework, starting from protocols definitions and ending with simulation details.

Muhsen Hammoud received his master of Information Technology from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia, 2012. His research work during the master was mainly about networks simulation. He is also interested in WSN, Social Simulation, Artificial Societies, and Multi-Agent Systems.
