Macedonia's Integration in the European Union

The focus of this book is to examine the process of European Union enlargement, from the perspective of the EU. The book gives some insights of further EU enlargement based on some grand theories of European integration. We examine the case of Macedonia's EU membership perspective and what it has accomplished until 2004. A decade later, Macedonia faces similar problems, noting the stagnation in its EU membership challenges.

Dr. Luan Eshtrefi has research interests in the field of the economics of European integration and EMU convergence in transition economies. He received his PhD from South East European University (MK), MA from the University of Manchester (UK), and BA from DePaul University (USA). Dr. Eshtrefi holds the title of Assistant Professor at SEEU.
