Machine Tools and Practice

Machine tools and practice is based on certain mechanical principle that are essential to all machine shop work everywhere .These are the principle of operation of machine tools and function of each part .This include method of holding and doing the work, the operation of cutting tools, tool geometry, cutting speed and feed and method of tool sharpening. This book provides the principle involved in the machining of metal and application of these principle to machine such as lathe, drill, milling, grinding. This book can serve a guide to shop practice .With this help ,the student in machine shop can gain the working knowledge of the principle of machine work. They will acquire skill in machine work by studying how and why certain operations are done.
