This book reviess the role of cytokine involvement in Malarial anaemia. The role of chemokines in malaria has also been discussed extensively. The has been an elaborate citation of relevant literature to support the current research findings. The key cytokines that the book focuses on are the interleukin-10, inteferon gamma, the chemokines. The book also explores the role of haemozion in the pathogenesis of malarial anaemia. A concerted effort has been made to review comprehensively the various factors that are involved in paediatric malaria anaemia. This review forms the foundation for the main research findings. The book explores the possible crosstalk and synergy of various factors in malaria anaemia that could lead to malaria anaemia in children. The possible correlation between age and erythropoietin has been extensively discussed.
