Accounting information systems are the basis of the decision making process in organizations of any business line, industrial, commercial and services. In addition to recording all transactions, they generate a database that allows decision making and thus to establish competitive advantages. Every professional in the economic-administrative areas should have enough basis to design and use accounting systems for a better performance in their professional life. This text is the accumulation of experiences of the academic author of this work.
