Management Accounting for Professionals

The financial management of companies and also public organizations is based on exploitation of the data produced by the two main information systems of the financial administration reserve. The general accounting information system, the core of which is the company's accounting information system, forms a strong foundation for the production and utilization of information for the entire financial administration. However, a company or organization cannot be managed with general accounting information. The task of management accounting is to assist management in its management work. Budgets, cost calculations, pricing and investment calculations are typical examples of management accounting information system reports. Future orientation, function-specificity and individual reports based on the company's own needs are the key goals of management accounting. Management accounting reports are partly based on data collected by the general accounting information system, but future-oriented reports also have to use information from outside the general accounting information system. The book is aimed at financial administration for working financial professionals and decision makers.
