Management And Users Participation In Low Cost Flat

The provision of flats as shelter for low income people has unwittingly changed the form of horizontal slums to vertical slums. Poor management of the rental public housing Penjaringan Pluit in Jakarta Indonesia, which own by Jakarta Provincial Government caused physical degradation of the environment and tend to be shabby. While Cengkareng Property of Indonesia Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, showed a good quality of the physical environment through comparative studies of how the physical quality seen from the management system of the two housing complex. The evaluation results are used to determined the factors that influencing the quality of environment and flat buildings.
