Management and Utilization of Educational Materials
Details
Blurb: To achieve educational objectives priority should be given to minimize the scarcity of finance and inefficiency of management practices. Accordingly, the teaching learning process can be more successful in educational institutions where resources are well managed. In contrast educational institutions with poor management practices tend to be unsuccessful. In most organizations materials consume the largest expenditures of the organizations' annual budget. Very little academic literature exists on this crucial issue. This book, therefore, provides useful information and shares the experience of Bahir Dar University/an Ethiopian higher education institution so that others can learn from this experience to improve their own practices. This analysis should help shed some lights on materials management in general and educational materials management in particular. The book should be especially useful for professionals and practitioners in education management and materials management fields or anyone else who may be considering the management and utilization of their material resources to successfully achieve their organizational objectives.
