Management has many aspects with many challenges. The goals: increasing profit, growth, efficiency remain unchanged, but the solutions are improved. Novelties in psychology, sociology, engineering and IT need and also generate the new tools and solutions. This book collects works around four important topics: corporate strategy, project management, sustainable development and information management. The authors are related to the University of Miskolc as former or present researchers: István Szintay (corporate strategy); Róbert Marciniak (shared services); László Berényi (public sector and sustainability); Csaba Deák and László Barna (project management); Éva Ligetvári (project portfolio management); Kriszitna Szegedi (CSR); Nikolett Deutsch (innovation and sustainability); Péter Sasvári (corporate IT and technology transfer); Zsolt Harangozó (operations and lean management); Michael Schwandt (risk management). The book highlights some actual and interesting issues of the authors research activity, including theoretical and empirical results.
