Management Control Systems & Performance of Financial Cooperatives

This book examines the influence of both financial and non-financial management controls systems on performance of savings and credit cooperatives (the member owned micro finance institutions in Wakiso, Uganda, given that these controls have long been recognized as playing a crucial role for the success and survival in today's competitive market. Controls exist in every business purposely to boost performance and without controls business firms stand a risk of continued low productivity.
