Management of Root-Knot Nematode in Tomato through Essential Oils

The work on root knot nematode in tomato not only confined in India but throughout the world. The Organism actively involved in the scientific literature contributed by several oriental scientists and researchers. A brief account on the morphology and biology of the root knot nematode has been given also for a comprehensive understanding of the root knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita and the disease caused by them. The nematicidal efficacy of essential oils obtained from aromatic plants tested against Meloidogyne incognita in tomato. The book with sizable number of tables and illustrations will be useful to scholars and researchers working in the field of tomato as well as root knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita.
