Managing Small Businesses in Uncertain Times: Indian Context
Details
This collection of six compact cases and teaching notes is based on Multidisciplinary Action Project (MAP) carried out by students of MBA Sem III at Chimanbhai Patel Institute of Management and Research, Ahmedabad in the Academic Year 2020-21. Multidisciplinary Action Project (MAP) is an integral part of the academic curriculum of MBA Program offered by GTU, wherein students have to work on actionable projects in association with companies / organizations / NGOs / rural bodies and have to solve business problems by applying their knowledge from multiple disciplines. These compact cases are developed by Faculty Mentors using the data collected by students through visits and direct interviews conducted with owners / entrepreneurs of small businesses in Gujarat during MAP. Publicly available data was used in some of the cases to enrich the content and make them more appropriate for use in classroom.
