Ha seguito una formazione in genomica del cancro e oncologia di precisione presso l'Harvard Medical College, USA. Eccelle nei suoi studi accademici e lavora nelle sue aree di interesse come il cancro della testa e del collo, la chirurgia ricostruttiva e la chirurgia dei traumi facciali.
