This book focused on the manpower development programmes of the Olabisi Onabanjo university, Ago Iwoye,Ogun State,Nigeria.Chapter one looked at the training and its multiplier effect on the productivity of the university library. The second chapter pointed out that between 1974 and 1984 seven state universities were established in Nigeria and Olabisi Olabanjo university was one of them and that the most important of all the resources in any academic institutions is the worker,these resources formulate various policies that guide the operation of the organization. Chapter three examined the subject of job performance and satisfaction among the junior staff of the university library. One need to know that when workers are rewarded for their hard works,it propels them to put in their best into the job. Chapter four considered the issue of information needs and seeking habits of the lecturers in the Engineering and Environmental studies of the university. These lecturers has various needs that are paramount to their lecturing work. In conclusion the text is essential for all people or institutions who desire the best for their organization
