MANUAL OF COMPARATIVE VETERINARY SPLACNOLOGY

This manual is aimed at undergraduate students of Veterinary Medicine, who are studying Comparative Veterinary Anatomy or other equivalent subjects, in which knowledge about the anatomy of the viscera (splacnology), located in the abdominal and thoracic cavity of the equine and bovine is needed. In the same way, it can be useful for professionals who need an update on the subject, with a clinical-surgical application. For this purpose, the systematic macroscopic and topographic morphology of the urogenital, abdominal digestive and thoracic respiratory systems of both species is presented.

Ricardo Olivares Pérez-Montt es académico de la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias y Pecuarias de la Universidad de Chile, desde 1990 a la fecha. Es graduado de Médico Veterinario (1985) y Magíster en Ciencias Biológicas Mención Morfología (1998), en dicha casa de estudio y Doctor por la Universidad de Zaragoza-España (2009).
