Manual on assessment of skill development needs

Skill is one of the important resources of human being which contributes as a driving force for economic and social development of individual, family or group. Due to globalization and technological changes in every sector, skill development can bridge the gap more effectively to overcome challenges and grab future opportunities. In extension education skill is the important resource which makes change in behavior of livestock farmer which helps to adoption of technologies. In unorganized dairy farming sector, there is lack of extension resources which may directly relate to adoption of innovations through their skill development.
