Plastic pollution is affecting biological growth and endangering mammals & ocean life seriously. Plastic pollution is caused by the accumulation of plastic waste in the environment. It can be categorized in to plastic bottles, caps, packing and carrying covers, shells etc., Polyethylene Terepthalate(PET) is a thermos-plastic having large number of applications like making bottles, food containers, clothing fibres and thermoformed objects manufacturing. 56,000,000 tons of PET is produced in 2016 and out of which 16,800,000 tons of PET is used to produce bottles alone. After usage these PET bottles are thrown in to dust or drainages which are one of the major reasons for plastic pollution.
