Kloosterboer is also known for her roles in television series Chiquititas, Son Amores and Lalola. Marcela Kloosterboer was born on 5 July 1983 in Buenos Aires, Argentina to parents of Dutch descent. She is a good friend of actress Agustina Cherri. Kloosterboer is vegetarian and collaborated in an AnimaNaturalis campaign against the use of fur in 2008.
