MARGINALIZATION TO LIBERALIZATION OF WOMEN PROTAGONISTS

"The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers own". The accepted notion of the sanctity of marital ties receives a serious blow with emergence of feminism. Feminism does not necessarily mean to wish to be like a man, but to accept womanhood with positivity. Women can reach their dreams of passions only when they are not subjugated and oppressed. The novelists implicitly convey the message that an ideal family can be established where both men and women avail equal opportunities and privileges, where cooperation, compromises and companionship prevail.
