Markerless Motion Analysis in Diffusion Tensor Fields and Applications

This book presents a markerless motion alaysis of deformable objects which have high-degree of freedom. In particular, motion analysis in the space of diffusion tensor fields is applied to various areas in computer vision and computer graphics. Skeleton features from a two-dimensional image or three-dimensional volume data are extracted and split for human action recognition, sketch-based image retrieval.

Sang Min Yoon received his B.E. and M.E. degree from electronics engineering at the Korea University in 2000 and 2002, respectively. After that he spent three years as a researcher with Samsung AIT. He earned his Dr.-Ing degree in Informatik, TU Darmstadt at 2010. He joined ot AIST as postdoctoral researcher.
