Mastering the English Composition

The fact that our official language in Nigeria is English, as well as the fact that at one time or another, especially during the period of our secondary and tertiary education, we will need to write compositions, makes it important for us to understand and master the nature as well as the basic skills required in the construction of the English composition. We must always remember that compositions are like ambassadors because they carry the writer's image and reputation. In this course text, we attempt to explicate the basic principles and skills for writing a successful composition.
