This book deals with biological concepts of symmetry in plants and some special cases of patterns in plants. In this book various type of symmetries like organic and inorganic symmetries, radial symmetry, bilateral symmetry and dorsiventral symmetry in roots, shoots and leaves are also discussed. It also presents the relation between divergence angle, plastochrone ratio, visible opposed parastichy pair and the angle of intersection. Finally a sequence of divergence angles for different branch arrangements based on actual field data collected from different plants.
