Mathematical teaching in the clothes modelling process

The book presents mathematical concepts covered in Clothing Modelling, under the strength of the realisation that mathematics is directly and closely related to fashion, starting with the very manufacture of the raw material on which it depends for its existence. We will thus develop the construction of a pattern step by step, revealing the presence of mathematics in a transparent way after careful research into knowledge and technical studies, through books, websites, articles and handouts from fashion-related courses, in addition to classroom practice with theoretical and practical lessons with students from the 3rd year of high school at the PREMEM School. We concluded by emphasising how a differentiated activity can help engage students with a given subject and therefore lead to practical and easy learning.
