Measurability of IT/IT-Security
Details
This book has a major on design, implementation and test of measurability of business processes. It shows also different solutions how to solve it and brings up other working applications with the same aim. The business processes are mapped to their technical representatives and these systems or servers are measured by the Nagios tool regarding to their availability. The goal of this project was to build an application which provides an overview of business processes for business manager and also to give a feedback for local administrators about the systems they are responsible for. The processes are created dynamically through a MySQL database and the fitting algorithms. The results will be shown in a web based solution. The system is working template-based and due to this it is easy to map on different sites. The application is scaleable in a wide range from global processes to local applications. Most effort has been invested to combining and calculating the process-availability, the assembling of the process hierarchy and the database design. All scrips are running on the server side so it is absolutely independent, excepting a client with an internet browser.
