In a world where nonrenewable resources continue to dwindle, energy education is a key component of a sustainable future. This book presents M.A.E.G.U.S, a serious game created to teach sustainable energy concepts in a fun and engaging manner. Developed in the Unity engine, this 3D simulation of wind turbines and solar arrays challenges players to solve energy crises with limited resources. The efficacy of the M.A.E.G.U.S serious game was compared with traditional teaching methods, such as reading material, in an experiment conducted on college students at Purdue University. The results of this experiment and the survey tool used are presented within this book.
