.......... most of the respondents viewed that their teacher had taught family planning related chapter in classroom whereas some argued that their teacher did want to discuss on it in the class.The most popular reasoning of teacher not to teach family planning related chapter was read it at last after finishing other chapters' and read it yourself'. Adolescence is the stage of being dilemma. In this stage proper knowledge is essential. In the current situation, population has been increasing rapidly and weak utilization of resources has become a serious challenge for the nation. With the increasement of the population, the knowledge of any contraceptive methods to the women of reproductive period is around universal. IEC had played vital role in the creation of awareness to the population. The exposure to media to national level is no more significant but in this study exposure is universal.

Mr. Chaulagai is a resident of Sindhupalchok, Nepal. He graduated from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal in 2003 with major in Population Studies.He did M.Phil. in Gender and Development from University of Bergen, Norway in 2009. He has hands of experiences on social development especially on gender and development.
