Medical Parasitology

This book, unlike some of the other books on the market, focuses on the essentials of parasites of medical importance to tropical and subtropical countries. The book contains many educational features designed to make the text student friendly and its contents easily learned. Each part contains an outline, study aids, key points re-emphasized within the text and a list of new terms in the introduction. Also included in the book are numerous full-color illustrations. Much of the material contained in too lengthy Medical Parasitology textbooks has been omitted in an effort to provide a concise presentation of the information required by underground students and their associates those who will use the book. However, each part also contains a list of references and suggested reading, where students may find more in-depth information on specific topics. This book provides an introduction to Medical Parasitology in general as well as the common helminths of medical importance. This book has been written in response to numerous requests for a concise, understandable, and easy to-use text that covers only the basics of Medical Parasitology.

I'm graduated from School of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. I've got a M Sc from Menoufia University, Egypt and a PhD from Leicester University, UK.
