Natural product chemistry continues to present opportunities for medicinal chemists to discover new bioactive compounds against various diseases. Even in cases where the structures are too complex to be obtained on a large scale from natural resources. My intention with this book to not only provide insights into the sources that may be used to discover new natural products based drugs but also to stress chemical methods used for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of medicinal principles. The author has received his Ph.D in Chemistry from University of Kashmir.The author has published more than 14 papers in reputed international and peer reviewed journals.
