Mental Health of School Students in relation to Emotional Intelligence

The concept of human nature and the nature of mind are constantly under the evolutionary process due to the researches in human biology, humanistic psychology and neurosciences etc. Emotional Intelligence is one of the emerging areas in psychology which has revolutionised the process of human social communication and relationship building. Apart from Emotional Intelligence, the other types of intelligence like Mental Intelligence, Social Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence based on specific human faculties have also been worked out by the psychologist and researchers. The book helps to understand the mental health of school students in light of various factors and show relation of mental health with emotional intelligence. PadamPreet Kaur was born on 28 July 1979 in Punjab, India. She is M.A(English), M.Ed and M.Phil (Education). She is working as Assistant Professor in English. She has published and presented papers in field of Education as well as Literature. Presently she is pursuing Ph.D in English and working on narratives of Asian and African women.
