Klappentext

This book provides a "macro" overview of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business alliances, and corporate restructuring. It concentrates on the processes and their players--investment bankers, business brokers, accountants, attorneys, tax experts, managers, investors, and others--and a dynamic series of actions with commonly unforeseen implications. Writtten for those who seek a broad based view of M&A, this heavily illustrated mix of theoretical and empirical work eschews descriptions of individual events in favor of presenting an integrated portrait of a team effort in which the skills of various participants combine to achieve consensus among the parties to the negotiation.
