Joseph Kupfer is Professor of Philosophy at Iowa State University, USA, where he teaches aesthetics, medical ethics and philosophy of law. He has published on topics such as autonomy, lying, parenthood and the virtues. Recent work includes Prostitutes, Musicians and Self-Respect and Feminist Ethics in Film: Reconfiguring Care Through Cinema.
