METAPHORICAL AND SYMBOLIC FEATURES OF THE UZBEK LANGUAGE

Language, as a means of human communication, plays a crucial role in shaping and maintaining cultural and social connections. Among the various forms of language, dialects and the modern literary language hold a special place. A dialect is a variety of language used by a specific group of speakers, often defined by geographic or social boundaries, and is characterized by unique phonetic, lexical, and grammatical features that distinguish it from the standard language.The literary language is a standardized form used in official and public communication, including literature, science, media, and education. It often draws on one or more dialects, yet maintains a high degree of stability and regulation. The interaction between dialects and the literary language reflects a dynamic process: dialects continue to evolve while influencing both spoken and written forms of the standard language.
