Methodology of In-Service Education and Teacher Training

Educational progress is enabled with well-trained teachers, while teacher training is possible with well-planned in-service professional training studies. Teacher training and in-service education is work where you can access core information including the latest status of education in Turkey and Europe, accreditation, and legal requirements of quality management system processes. In this work, in-service education and training needs analysis has been implemented on a group of training teachers willing to take responsibility in the accreditation process. The results of these surveys revealed the necessity of in-service training towards improving the performance of overall training teachers. Pre-and post-training performance evaluations of training teachers have been compared by technical experts, and significant differences have been detected between pre-training and post-training performances. Thus, this book will constitute a guide to healthy, proper, reliable and objective execution of all training teachers' accreditation process. This book shows the way for those who are willing to take responsibility in the accreditation process and compliance to international standards.

Dr. U ur Diler completed his bachelor's degree at the Department of English Teaching. He has conducted several academic studies in various countries. He completed his doctorate degree upon return to Turkey. Currently, he manages university accreditation process and continues to give lectures in universities as an academician.
