Michas Rätsel

In this historical-critical examination of the Book of Micah, the author seeks to redefine the work's textual legacy, which can be traced back to the historical prophets. While previous researchers have generally considered Micah 13 as original, this study suggests that a poem about the calamity of Shefela is the true origin of the tradition. It thus presents a new perspective on the history of the Book of Micah.
