Micro-leakage around Temporary Restorative Materials

Based on an in-vitro study, this book describes the sealing ability of three different temporary filling materials when placed adjacent a permanent restoration such as amalgam. Explaining the sealing behaviour of these materials along with some recommendations on various clinical scenarios when an interface between restorative materials is encountered, the content of this book gives an insight on the dynamics of micro-leakage when dissimilar filling materials interact.
