Microbial lipases in Industries

To days world depends on microbes especially .Enzymes are the prime products .The structural elucidations of microbial lipases have been of prime interest since 2000. The unique inter facial activation of lipases is a unique phenomenon which is used for understanding their structure function relationships.The structural analysis can be done for purified microbial lipases.The primary structure of protein (amino acid sequence) can be determined by methods such as Edman degradation or tandem-mass spectrometry This phenomenon is important for various enzymological,biophysical and crystallographic studies.
