Details

Infection urolithiasis can represent a major public health problem. We note a change in its frequency during the last decades, both at our level and globally. The latest updates in the epidemiological classification of urolithiasis, in particular infection, are attributable to changes in health conditions, eating habits, the standard of living of populations or the prevalence of conditions that predispose to the risk of lithiasis (obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome). Finally, we found that the multiresistant uropathogens involved in lithogenesis, could change morphology in urine culture during ECBU or in pyelic urinary calculus culture. They tend to change appearance thanks to the deletion of the characters. biochemical (urease-indole) probably due to the rearrangement of DNA by mutation during the formation of the calculous biofilm known under the name of "fitness costs".
