Microcontroller (89C51) Based Automatic Gradation of Fruits
Details
Automatic fruit grading and sorting has not been implemented widely for all types of fruits. Currently, an International market became highly selective. The market requires the product according to very strict standard norms of quality, quantity and presentation. During last three four years, a number of fruit sorting and grading systems have appeared to fulfill the needs of the fruit processing industry. Developed countries are already implementing the concept of High-tech farming. Many developing countries can not import High-tech equipment because they are depending on traditional farming methods and the sophisticated equipment are very costly. A common Farmer can't afford the cost of the said equipment. This is a system in which a cost effective fruit gradation mostly for mango or tomato is implemented, which can be affordable to common farmer's pocket. At present this is the prime need of an Agriculture Sector and this will bring the revolution in this field.
