Details

Characteristic features of the concept of "jester" (n): perceptual-imaginative and value characteristics The figure of a jester is one of the many archetypical characters, famous in the world literature. It is considered one of cultural codes of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, moreover, it is stated as one of the most difficult images for understanding due its representations. Today it is almost impossible to determine the exact date of appearance of jesters on the world stage. The first official mention of them is dated back to the year 1370. But it should be noted that the concept of "jester" refers to the ideas about a person, and was repeatedly mentioned in the works of poets and prose writers of earlier eras: proverbs, sayings, phraseological units, music, painting and sculpture.

Autorentext
