Micropolar Elastic Media- Some Problems

In classical elasticity micro-structure is immaterial. But some cases micro- structure of a material plays an important role on the mechanical behaviour of the material. Reasonably it appears that the study of micropolar elasticity is essential. Based on Eringen's Model of micropolar elasticity some problems on propagation of surface waves and diffraction of waves in micropolar elastic media have been considered in this book.
