Microwave Sintering For Magnetic Abrasives

Magnetic abrasives play a significant role in micro finishing processes like Magnetic Abrasive Finishing. The magnetic abrasive should have essential properties like cutting ability and some degree of ferro-magnetism. The present book focuses on the use of microwaves in a well known technique called sintering so as to efficiently manufacture the magnetic abrasives. The text given in the book is based on the research results of a masters level thesis submitted in mechanical engineering department of Guru Nanak Dev Engg College Ludhiana, India. The idea explored in the book may be very useful for researchers engaged in the field of micro finishing of surfaces

Il dottor Sehijpal Singh lavora come professore e capo del dipartimento di ingegneria meccanica presso il G.N.D Engg. College Ludhiana (India). È laureato e ha conseguito un master presso l'Università del Punjab. Ha ottenuto il dottorato di ricerca nel campo della produzione non tradizionale presso l'IIT Roorkee (India) nel 2002. Ha pubblicato circa 100 articoli su riviste e conferenze specializzate.
