Middle East Respiratory Syndrome

This book is a modest attempt to provide a detailed overview of the ongoing Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) infection affecting hundreds of individuals annually. Considering the global outbreaks of the syndrome, the authors felt a need to disseminate knowledge among healthcare professionals and the general public about mode of spread of the disease, treatment options and preventive measures. For the sake of convenience, the book is written in simplified language and incorporates a number of illustrations and figures. We believe that this guidelines-based book will cater to the needs of physicians, healthcare professionals, researchers and also to the general public.
