What should be the major function of governments?Are diversity and tolerance cornerstones for peace to prevail? What persuades people to join terrorist groups that perpetrated the atrocities which have recently taken place in some Middle Eastern countries? Why do governance failures lead to grievance and to tarnishing and demolishing civilizations?Is there an association between the terrorist acts and the geography of the targeted place? Does international cooperation assist in the deterrence, investigation, and detection of the acts of terrorism? Is collective security regime effective in combating terrorism in the 21st century? Can summits, dialogs, and commissions organized by governments ensure peace? Could transformational educational systems render tactics and strategies that sustain peace? Can UN strategies give communities hope for a brighter future that could guarantee peoples and their posterity a happy, satisfying life?
