Miguel Ángel Cancel Vázquez (born June 29, 1968) is a former member of Menudo.A native of Chicago, Cancel joined Menudo in 1981, replacing Oscar Melendez. His persona in the group was as the good guy[dubious discuss]. He became an instant hit among Menudo fans because of his charisma and vocal ability.Cancel was a member during the worldwide Menudo craze of the early 1980s. In the 1981 album Quiero Ser, Miguel sang a duet with Xavier Serbia in Menudo's "Rock en la TV". He also sang "Es Por Amor" and the heart-touching "Cuando Pasara", a song which talked both about parents who abandon their children and parents who die too young to see them grow.
