This implies that the dental profession recognizes that an artifact is of less biological value than the original healthy tissue. The phrase minimally invasive dentistry first occurred in PubMed in 1987. The phrase means less cutting and less removal of healthy tissue. This concept embraces all aspects of the profession, from soft tissue surgery to incipient caries lesion diagnosis and casual treatment. The term minimal intervention in relation to dental caries covers a vast area of diagnosis, risk assessment, prevention, and control.Further, it will add to our knowledge regarding Minimally Invasive Dentistry as well as the basic concepts of Minimally Invasive Dentistry.
