Minimize the impact of waste pollution in shipbuilding and ship Repair

This book describes the problem of environmental pollution and waste management in shipbuilding and ship repairs. The shipbuilding industry is one of the hardest metal industries with several chemical and hazardous material exposures. Most of the traditional production processes such as welding, painting, blasting, and fiberglass production have direct impacts on workers' health and safety as well as adverse effects on the environment.

O Dr. Maddili Praveena Chakravarthy obteve o seu doutoramento na Universidade de Andhra em Janeiro de 2014 e trabalha actualmente como gestor na Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Defence PSU, sob a tutela do Ministério da Defesa. Tem um total de 20 anos de experiência industrial. Publicou mais de 15 artigos em várias revistas de renome e artigos em conferências nacionais e internacionais.
