The book points out the conceptual ideas and basic principles of mining in general. Mining begins from mineral exploration to ore exploitation which is later processed and applied. It is inclusive of the application of equipment and tools for surface and underground mining. Different terminologies have been outlined. The pertinent process for extraction of minerals from an outcrop of rocks are outlined. This is a book written for both beginners and experts in their respective fields.
